Caroline Lian, a Director at Riveron, is primarily responsible for providing client service. Her fifteen years of experience include design and implementation of strategic business transformation solutions, including merger integration, divestiture, program management, cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational redesign of HR, technology, finance, accounting, and procurement. Caroline has significant experience with both public and private companies across a variety of industries, including government, capital markets, banking, and insurance.
Caroline brings a strategic approach to client service, helping to reduce costs, increase revenues, and improve processes and operating models. Through her work in transforming business operations she has helped government agencies save millions, while increasing controls, compliance, transparency, and service quality to the public. She has also assisted a range of clients by providing project management, business analysis, financial restructuring expertise, and negotiation and deal completion assistance.
She most recently served as deputy chief operating officer of the District of Columbia Public School system and as chief operating officer for the District of Columbia Office of the Chief Technology Officer. Caroline also held several positions at Ernst & Young, CapGemini, JPMorgan, and her own consulting firm, where she was responsible for account and practice management, business development and client service delivery. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in molecular biology.
