Senior Director
Doug Mills is a Senior Director at Riveron Consulting. His twenty-plus years of experience include corporate governance and internal audit industry positions, as well as service in leadership roles providing public accounting and consulting services to both public and private companies. He has served a variety of industries, including financial services, retail and consumer products, manufacturing, and distribution.
Doug is responsible for Riveron’s delivery operations, which includes recruiting Riveron consultants and resource management. Doug creates loyalty among clients by combining an effective team approach to understanding business and risk issues with an ability to effectively communicate associated challenges and solutions.
He is a native of Olney, Texas. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Baylor University in 1989, and a master of business administration degree from Texas Christian University in 2000. Doug is a Certified Public Accountant and holds NASD Series 7 and 24 licenses. Prior to joining Riveron, Doug served Fidelity Investments in various risk management and operational audit roles over the course of eleven years, and worked in the Assurance and Advisory Practice at Ernst & Young for over five years.
