Riveron Consulting names new regional development director in Dallas

Dallas, January 21, 2010 – Riveron Consulting (www.riveronconsulting.com), a unique financial consulting firm serving private equity funds and firms that are growing through strategic acquisitions, has named Matt Bender director of business development in its Dallas headquarters office. Bender will be responsible for continuing Riveron’s growth in Dallas and the Southwest.
“Over the last year, we’ve managed to grow our firm despite the global downturn,” said Landon Smith, managing partner of Riveron. “For example, we recently opened a new office in Chicago. We are very excited that a results-oriented executive like Matt Bender has joined our team. Matt will make significant contributions to our continued growth.”
Bender will be responsible for strategic development and execution of growth plans, developing client relationships, direct sales and marketing in Riveron’s Southwest region. Previously, he served as a regional director of business development for RSM McGladrey and McGladrey & Pullen, where he was recognized on multiple occasions as one of the firm’s top business development professionals. He also held several business development positions with Microsoft Corporation and KPMG LLP. He has undergraduate degrees in Economics and Human & Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University.
