Chicago, September 26, 2011 – Riveron Consulting (www.riveronconsulting.com), a financial consulting firm serving private equity funds, portfolio companies, public and private businesses, and lenders, has named John Iwanski managing director of the firm’s Chicago office.
As managing director, John Iwanski’s primary responsibilities include market strategy, engagement team leadership, client satisfaction, practice development, and employee retention and recruiting. He has more than 20 years of diverse experience in auditing, advisory, and executive roles, with a specialization in providing transaction consulting services.
Prior to joining Riveron, Iwanski served as partner in Grant Thornton’s Transaction Advisory Services group. Iwanski also served as chief financial officer to a privately funded private equity group located in Chicago where he was involved in financial strategy, relationship maintenance, transaction structure, and due diligence. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin and is a Certified Public Accountant.
